I love forth of July parades & Lao food.

I can't say today started out perfect for me because it didn't. I don't now if I woke up on the wrong or the right side of the bed, but this morning was a little rough. No worries though, i got over it. 

Today I am going to share with you two things I love. 

1. Lao food. 

I have family and neighbors that our from Laos & Thailand, growing up Asian food was a must. 

Sticky rice, I eat it with salt and Soy sauce, Or I Americanize it with Peanut butter. 

Home maid egg rolls. yum. 

2. Forth of July Parade. 

Every Forth of July, My little home town has a Parade the opening day of the Carnival. My Sister & I for the past six years have roller bladed for our local library. We love our Library. 

These two lady's are, our library moms.

We are pretty much pro's at roller blading, except for the falling part. 

 The past years we always roller bladed behind a big fire truck but this year we got a cute little ancient car. 

That's two things I love. 

Oh and look at this baby, isn't he cute. We went swimming for the first time yesterday.

I looked like a politician's wife.

This weekend flew by super fast, is that what happens as I get older?

 I'm not sure I like it if it is. 

 This is what I wore to church yesterday, Simple black dress with some shinny heals and of coarse my pearl necklace and the pearl ear rings the boyfriend gave me.

 This is the outfit that our pastors wife told me i looked like a politician's wife. hehe. What do you think? Could I play the part?

Other than being told I looked like a politician's wife, Boyfriend & I went to watch some fireworks on saturday night.

Hello Friday, 

Well today wasn't very eventful, but hopefully the weekend will be!

Wednesday night was rather fun. 

Headed out to dinner with my dear friend Kayla, the bride to be & another dear friend of mine Amy who is another brides maid. I'm sure you can only imagine that we talked a lot about her wedding & things of the such. I'm super excited for her.

Good Morning, 

Honey Buy me Roses but don't buy red. 

everyday you find new ways to make it beautiful. 

That's beautiful to me. 

This is a dress I brought this past weekend at Marshall! Is it not super cute?? (if you check pout my sister's blog, she bought a new dress too!)

I wore it to church yesterday, but don't worry I wore a little denim jacket over it, so I didn't put my pastor in shock. I mean I already felt like a sinner yesterday as he talked about people who go to the movies after church on Sunday aren't sinners.. But pretty close. Not only do I go to movies sometimes on Sundays but yesterday I went to work after church. Haha! Oh dear.

Today is officially my catch up day after working six days in a row.

I felt like a princess.

I got all dressed up & Ryan took me out on a fancy date.(A late One year Anivsary date)  He gave me pearl ear rings.Yes, I did tear up a little. I mean you can't blame me, their beautiful. I felt like a princess with him being the prince & all. It was a wonderful night.

what a weekend!

Weekend:

1. My sister, along with Denny (her prom date) and his brother Cody  ran a 5k saturday morning. No, I did not run it! but Daisy and I went & cheered them on! I even made a shirt.

Denny came in first, With Cody a few seconds behind him, & than Shannon came in Third in her age group.
They all got ribbons! yay. Daisy & I were very proud!

2. My sister had her graduation party Saturday. All day Saturday the weather was beautiful, but about an hour into her party, It was complete down pour. We have a small two car garage, imagine 90ish people trying to cram into it.

Despit the Rain, the party was a hit & lots of people came out to share in our celebration.

3. Sunday for me was a bit lazy. I put the Bikini on and layed around outside dipping every so often in my tiny kiddie pool while reading Basic Economics by Thomas Sowell. Its a pretty good book, It explains things really well for those like me that need a better understanding on how things work in the economic system.

4.Also Sunday night we went over to our neighbors for a traditional Lao Dinner.  Yum! I have family that our Lao so this was not the first Lao dinner for me. I love Asian food with a passion.

5. I just wanted to share with you the song that I have had playing in my head all weekend at the most random moments.

Well its off to doing laundary & spending more time in the sun with my dog.

Just another day..

Just another day..

Work was & has been a little weird. & We are currently trying to rush & get everything ready for my beautiful sisters graduation party. So yep Kinda just another day... 

As I said yesterday was Ryan & I's One Year.

 We didn't do anything to big.. I guess that is to come a little later this summer but we did go out to dinner & he brought me flowers.. Which leaves me to be, One Happy Girl!
